Who Works the Rivers in Pittsburgh & Point Pleasant

This week welcomes two separate Who Works the Rivers events in different cities.  On April 20th, RiverWorks Discovery heads to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Who Works the Rivers Port of South Louisiana Coming March 14 & 23

The Port of South Louisiana will host not one, but two Who Works the Rivers events on March 14th and March 23rd.  Some of the favorites are back, students will have a chance to up their selfie game with the imaging station, throw a line, and even learn how food ends at their plate with a tour of Cargill.  Once again students will receive opportunities to talk with mariners and other careers along the river. Junior Achievement Award Career Exploration

Thousands of students explored careers in New Orleans on Tuesday. About 3,300 students! Waterways Journal Covers the History of RiverWorks Discovery

RiverWorks Discovery Executive Director, Errin Howard spoke with the Waterways Journal about her time at the helm of RiverWorks Discovery and the organization's history. Howard is a fixture at RWD, but the program started just before her in 2004 as an outreach of AEP. Howard joined the program in 2006. On February 10th, RiverWorks Discovery hosted its first "Who Works the Rivers" of 2023 in Vicksburg, MS.
